Mark Hartley
Founder and CEO

Prior to founding BankiFi, Mark has operated globally in a range of general management, sales, innovation and strategy roles in the technology businesses servicing the financial services industry. This included spending over a decade working in the APAC region and latterly Europe, with brands including Clear2Pay and FIS.

His vision around open payments lead to the creation of the Open Payment Hub, the ‘stable’ product that lead to the acquisition of the company in 2014 by FIS. A renowned innovator and thought leader on the subject of Payments & Open Banking, he served as strategic Advisor to the Board of Nationwide Building Society.

Marijke Koninckx
Chief Product Officer

The thread that has run throughout her career so far will be the core focus for Marijke Koninckx' role at BankiFi as well: helping companies to better understand complex market and customer requirements and translate that into a successful product and go to market strategy.

She most recently worked as Product Manager on Real-time Payments and Open Banking. Marijke is a key contributor to the PSD2 industry working groups such as Open Transaction Alliance, CAPS and Open Banking Working Group.

Nick Reid
Head of Strategic Growth

Nick joined BankiFi in 2021 to manage sales and partnerships with banks and financial institutions. With a decade’s experience of providing award-winning commercial card technology to global FIs in previous roles, he is a self-professed payments technology evangelist constantly looking for cost-effective ways for buyers and suppliers to maximise working capital and achieve process efficiencies.

Nick is fluent in English, French and German, enjoys spending his spare time with his young family and is a keen amateur cricketer.

Jo Gibson
Head of SME Channel

Jo Gibson has worked with Small & Micro business to bring innovative, time saving financial tools for over 20 years. Jo joined the BankiFi team from a global corporate environment but before that ran a successful small business of her own.

Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service Jo loves to work with businesses across all sectors and trades. Outside of business hours you will find Jo outdoors, skiing, paddle boarding or attending the odd music festival or two.

Chris Fry
Chief Financial Officer

Chris Fry manages all matters finance and is a chartered accountant having qualified in 1990 with Price Waterhouse. From 2001 until 2018 he was a partner with KPMG, where he specialised in corporate taxation, mainly in the area of tax structuring and mergers and acquisitions across a range of national and regional roles.

He was office senior partner in Liverpool for 7 years prior to his retirement from the firm in April 2018. Chris is also a non-executive member of the board of a north west BPO business and is on the board of the Liverpool Local Enterprise Partnership.

Kirk Winstanley
Chief Operating Officer

Kirk Winstanley has spent his entire career supporting businesses to improve and grow, both in large corporates, as well as in a number of his own ventures. He lead the tech infrastructure fit-out of a new bank in Spain, was the technology lead of the implementation of Faster Payments in a UK bank, opened up new region for a change consultancy, and met some of the BankiFi leadership during his years as the Client Delivery Lead at Clear2Pay.

His focus on the ‘how’ and keen interest in building and growing teams make him a key team member both inside the company as well as on the client side.

Lindsay Hodges
Director of Product Management

Lindsay brings her background of over 25 years in financial technology as an experienced product manager and highly successful sales executive with a proven track record in digital banking and lending products.

Lindsay is an expert liaison between BankiFi and enterprise partners - a highly skilled professional who excels in collaborating with financial companies to gather product requirements, outline product roadmap prioritization, and communicate technical requirements related to payment and integration services within digital banking platforms.

As the primary point of contact for our enterprise partners, Lindsay also collaborates with customer engagement personnel, assembles detailed partner playbooks and client success criteria, and provides the BankiFi team a strategic roadmap and requirements relevant to the North American market, primarily in the US.

Lindsay is also a small business owner and understands the challenges small businesses have in invoicing and payment processing.  Combined with her wealth of experience in digital banking and a strong track record of success, Lindsay acts as a bridge for institutions and businesses to work together and grow. Her passion for small business, keen eye for detail, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams make her an great resource.
